Granola is an AI-powered meeting notes platform that automatically captures and organizes your meetings. The Granola MCP server lets you search and access your meeting notes using natural language.
This is a third-party managed MCP server operated by Granola. Authentication uses OAuth — just connect your Granola account and start using it immediately.

What Can It Do?

  • Search meeting notes by topic, participant, or date
  • Access transcripts and summaries from past meetings
  • Find action items and key decisions from meetings

Where to Use It

Add Granola as a tool to any agent. The agent can then search and retrieve your meeting notes conversationally, choosing the right actions based on context. To add an MCP tool to your agent:
  1. Open your agent’s configuration
  2. Click Add toolsConnect an app with MCP
  3. Search for the integration and select it
  4. Authenticate with your Granola account
You can control which tools your agent has access to. After adding an integration, click on it to enable or disable specific tools based on what your agent needs.

In Workflows (Via Agent Node)

For automated pipelines, use an Agent Node with Granola tools. This gives you the flexibility of an agent within a deterministic workflow.

Authentication

Granola uses OAuth 2.0 for authentication. When you connect the integration, you’ll be redirected to Granola to authorize access. No API keys or manual configuration required.

Example Prompts

Use these with your agent or in the Agent Node: Search notes:
Find my meeting notes from last week about the product roadmap
Get action items:
What action items came out of my meeting with the engineering team?
Find decisions:
What was decided about the Q3 budget in recent meetings?
