If an agent’s Owners are unavailable, an organization admin in the same organization can manage the agent through administrative access and can claim durable ownership. Claiming doesn’t require that every existing Owner has left.
  1. Sign in as an organization admin and open the agent.
  2. Click the ⋮ menu next to its name.
  3. Choose Claim Ownership.
You become an Owner and can edit the agent, manage access, and add other Owners.
Claim Ownership only shows up when you reached the agent through your admin override and you aren’t already an Owner. Admin access lets you open an agent. It doesn’t make you its Owner. That’s what claiming does.

Avoid this in the first place

  • Give important agents two Owners. Gumloop won’t let you remove or demote the last Owner, but that doesn’t help if someone deactivates that Owner’s account.
  • Keep shared agents in a team rather than someone’s personal space. See Create a team.

No. Users, team access, and the Organization and Public link access settings stay exactly as they were. You are added as an Owner.
