Use the three-dot menu on the source’s row. Alongside Re-sync, Rename, and Control Access, it has:
  • Pause — stops all syncing, including scheduled syncs. A sync that is running stops where it is. Everything already synced stays searchable; pausing only freezes updates, so new documents and permission changes stop flowing in.
  • Resume — turns syncing back on. Run Re-sync afterwards to catch up immediately instead of waiting for the next scheduled sync.
  • Delete — removes the source and everything synced from it. Its documents disappear from search and from any agents it was attached to. This cannot be undone; you can always add the source again, but it will re-estimate and re-index from scratch.

Can I move a source to a different Brain?

There is no move action. To relocate a source (say, from your personal Brain to a team’s), add it fresh in the target Brain and delete the old one. To let more people use an organization source without moving it, use Control Access to share it with more teams instead.

FAQ

No. Paused sources keep serving what was already synced — results just get staler over time. Delete the source if you want its content gone.
Yes. Whatever synced before the pause is searchable, and the rest is picked up after you resume and sync again.
The source is detached and agents simply stop finding its content. Other attached sources keep working.
