Run a manual sync to see a permission change immediately, or wait for the next scheduled sync (typically hourly). To sync manually, open the knowledge source in Brain and use its sync action. Once the sync finishes, the updated permissions apply right away in search, browse, and agent answers.

Some providers propagate container level permissions to individual documents gradually, so a sync run immediately after sharing can catch documents mid update. Wait a few minutes and sync again.
