You need Editor, Owner, or Org Admin. Each person owns the triggers they create. That applies to scheduled, app, webhook, and custom (MCP) triggers.

Who can do what

Team membership does not make someone an Editor. Grant Editor in Share first.

Personal space vs team

Trigger ownership always follows the person who created it. Where the agent lives changes who can see other people’s triggers. On a personal agent, if several Editors each add a trigger, those triggers all live on that one agent. Other Editors do not see them. The owner does.

If chat cannot change a trigger

In chat, the agent can only list and change your triggers. That is true even for the Owner and Org Admin. If you asked it to change someone else’s scheduled, app, webhook, or custom trigger, it will refuse. Create your own, or open Triggers on the agent page (Owner / Org Admin can change anyone’s from there).

FAQ

No, unless you are the Owner or Org Admin editing someone else’s trigger from Triggers. An Editor can only change the triggers they created.
Viewer and Use Only can chat. Creating or editing triggers needs Editor, Owner, or Org Admin.
No. Chat only manages triggers the current user created. Use Triggers on the agent page to change someone else’s.
