# Agent tools

> Create and manage agents, their skills, MCP servers, models, and versions.

Use these tools to create and manage Gumloop agents and their configuration.

| Tool | Description | Required inputs |

| `list_agents` | List agents in your account with optional search and workspace filtering | None |
| `get_agent` | Fetch an agent's configuration | `agent_id` |
| `create_agent` | Create an agent with a name and model | `name`, `model_name` |
| `update_agent` | Update an agent's metadata or configuration | `agent_id` |
| `attach_agent_skills` | Attach existing skills to an agent | `agent_id`, `skill_ids` |
| `detach_agent_skills` | Detach skills from an agent | `agent_id`, `skill_ids` |
| `attach_agent_mcp_server` | Attach or update an MCP server on an agent | `agent_id`, `server_id` |
| `detach_agent_mcp_server` | Detach an MCP server from an agent | `agent_id`, `server_id` |
| `list_models` | List model groups available to agents | None |
| `list_agent_versions` | List an agent's immutable versions | `agent_id` |
| `get_agent_version` | Fetch an immutable agent version and its configuration | `agent_id`, `version_id` |
