# Browser profiles

> Create, inspect, update, and delete personal browser profiles.

Agents with the Browser ability use stored profiles for their sign-ins. Existing profile listing and cookie import remain available:

```bash theme={"dark"}
gumloop browser profiles list --json
gumloop browser import-logins --into PROFILE_ID
```

## Personal profile management

```bash theme={"dark"}
gumloop browser profiles create "Research" --json
gumloop browser profiles get PROFILE_ID --json
gumloop browser profiles update PROFILE_ID --name "Research sign-ins" --json
gumloop browser profiles update PROFILE_ID --default --json
gumloop browser profiles delete PROFILE_ID --json
```

These management commands always act on the authenticated user's personal profiles, independently of global `--team-id` or `GUMLOOP_TEAM_ID`. Deleting a profile removes its stored sign-ins. Use the main platform for shared profile administration and individual site removal.

The Python equivalents are `client.browser_profiles.create`, `get`, `update`, and `delete`. These methods act on personal profiles even when the SDK client has a configured `team_id`. Existing `list` and `import_cookies` retain their own team-selection options. Browser viewing, control, and handoffs remain in the authenticated platform UI.

> The new personal management methods require the corresponding backend API support. Availability depends on deployment.
